EAST AFRICA DIVING is one of the longest operating PADI Dive centres on Zanzibar we have been diving this magnificent area of the Indian Ocean since 1998. We are a 5 star PADI GOLD PALM RESORT as well as a DAN (Divers Alert Network) Safety Partner. We conduct all guided dives and PADI courses as per PADI and DAN Safety Standards. East Africa Diving is owned and managed by Michael and Delene Kurz. Michael is responsible for the daily diving activities, leading dives, compressor operation, engine services etc. He is from Germany and appreciates a professional approach to diving. Delene is responsible for the administration, takes care of the clients and services most of the diving equipment. She is born and bread in South Africa and feels very at home here in Zanzibar. Michael and Delene have lived in South Africa and Germany prior to living in Zanzibar for the last 8 years.
